Hope reflects on the contradiction between being surrounded and feeling alone. Removed from its natural environment, the bird encounters a cluster of mirrors that multiply images without providing real companionship. The work uses reflection as a metaphor for contemporary social life, where constant proximity and visibility do not necessarily produce connection. Within this sense of isolation, the bird’s persistent gesture of looking becomes an expression of hope, a continued search for belonging beyond its own reflection.
