Trouble Magnet reimagines the classic horseshoe magnet as a figurative sculpture, drawing bodies toward its arch in a dynamic flow of motion. The magnet becomes both literal and metaphorical: a vessel of attraction and ambition, as well as a trap for recurring cycles of striving and self-entanglement. The figures clinging to or reaching for the magnet speak to shared goals and the illusion of collective progress, yet also reveal the tension of being caught between personal longing and external pressures. This duality of connection versus collapse, desire versus disillusionment, defines the psychological core of the work.
