Access I, 2020

Description :

Access I begins with the fingerprint as a marker of individual identity. Its ordered ridges appear almost like a self-contained system, suggesting the structures through which individuals are recognized, classified, and positioned. The work considers identity not simply as something personal, but as something that determines how we enter and navigate the social structures around us.
