Points of View, 2023
Information :
Points of View places a human eye within a rigid cube, creating a tension between the fluid nature of perception and the structures that contain it. The eye suggests observation and individual perspective, while the cube represents the boundaries created by experience, culture, environment, and established ways of thinking. Although we may look at the same reality, what we see is inevitably shaped by the position from which we observe it. The work reflects on the subjectivity of perception, questioning whether we see things as they are or through the frameworks we have constructed around ourselves.
