The Economy Class (Edition 2 of 2), 2023

Information :

The Economy Class reflects on saving as a form of knowledge passed from one generation to another. Growing up, I observed my mother carefully manage household expenses and make small resources stretch further. After moving to the United States, I carried this practice with me, adapting it to a new economic and cultural environment. Through the accumulation of small denominations, the work considers how seemingly minor acts of saving can become strategies for stability, adaptation, and survival, turning an inherited domestic habit into a tool for navigating an unfamiliar life.
