With My Head & Heart visualizes the continuous negotiation between emotion and reason through a self-portrait fused with an anatomical heart. Veins extend outward like roots or branching pathways, while the heart physically merges with the head, collapsing the conventional separation between thinking and feeling. Rather than presenting the mind and heart as opposing forces, the drawing considers how they remain interconnected, particularly when navigating uncertainty, ambition, relationships, and difficult life decisions.
