Rorschach Test merges a spinal cord with the silhouette of a liquor bottle, combining two seemingly unrelated forms into one charged image. The spinal cord—our core of stability—is encased in a vessel often tied to release, escape, and the disintegration of control. Referencing the psychological test of character and impulse, this work probes how internal structure reacts under external influence. Alcohol becomes a metaphorical x-ray—revealing cracks, suppressed desires, and the collapse of restraint.
Here, the spine symbolizes dignity, discipline, and resolve. Its containment within the bottle invites reflection on how easily these pillars bend under pressure—whether societal or personal. Rorschach Test asks not just what you see, but what you stand on: What holds you upright? What shakes you loose?
