Echo of Thought, 2026
Description :
Echo of Thought sculpture merges the form of an ear with the texture of a brain, embodying the complex relationship between listening, perception, and cognition. Cast in brass and placed on a pink pedestal reminiscent of brain tissue, the work suggests how what we hear is never neutral but filtered through personal experience, knowledge, and emotion. The ear becomes both a receiver and a thinker, reflecting how sound and speech enter the body, transform through interpretation, and ultimately shape thought and behavior. The coffee table like pedestal evokes everyday spaces of dialogue, emphasizing the subtle yet profound ways conversation and communication influence our mental and emotional landscapes.
